About me
After working in the corporate world in Sales and Marketing for IHeartMedia and Sony Music Group in New York, DC, and Los Angeles I decided to move to Bali, Indonesia for a change of pace and pursue my yoga teaching certification to take some time to explore the world. I fell in love with the Balinese culture of simplicity, care for the community they lived in, and their love for the natural world that surrounded them in a far corner of the planet. When I returned home I moved to Vail, Colorado where I spent six years pursuing my love for the outdoors while working in the Hospitality industry, freelance marketing, and the Town of Vail Sustainability Department. I found the CU Boulder Masters of the Environment program and discovered my passion for conservation management and further obsession with sustainability. I focus all my current projects around conserving biodiversity and plan to follow my passion in this sphere after graduating from the program. A project I’m continuing research on as an independent study is with HotSpot Patrons funding projects in the Amazon Rainforest and Mata Atlantica in Brazil that focus on biodiversity and would love to continue centering my efforts on restoring these regions.
